How to stay motivated all the time: Learn how to improve your life for the better

Motivation is a fickle thing. It doesn’t come easy and even if it does, keeping that fire burning is harder. Everyone wants to be at the top of their to-do list. But, of course, only some manage to do it. There are people in the world who have piles of assignments pending, cleaning to be done, months of laundry untouched, and whatnot. And then some who've got everything sorted out.

Now you may ask, “how are they able to do it?” But I think the correct question should be, “why are you not able to do it?” I mean we all breathe the same air, right? Well, don’t worry, because I’ve got you covered. Keep on reading to know how to keep the fire burning.

Wake up at the same time every day

It is very important to have a sleeping schedule that is both constant and consistent. Because if you are sleep deprived, you are energy-deprived. If you are energy-deprived, you are motivation deprived. And if you are motivation deprived, well then, you know how the day goes. So, if you want a sleeping schedule, start waking up at the same time every day because if you do so, you will start sleeping at the same time every day.

Declutter

A messy space is a big turn off. You see your desk cluttered, and you automatically slip back into your bed. Take a few minutes out every day to clean the space you live in or work in. It is not too difficult to clean your room for just 5 minutes. Because, let’s get real, no one is that busy. And even if you are, it doesn’t matter. Treat it like a task. You have to complete it, by hook or by crook. A clean space makes everything better. Real talk!

Brain dump

Don’t just clean your surroundings. Clear the mess that your brain has become. Once in a while, when you start feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work you have, take a paper and pen and scribble down everything that’s going on in your mind. Trust me, there’s nothing more calming than watching your head turn into a clean slate.

Set Goals

Start easy. Don’t dive headfirst, or you will only drown. Pick something simple Break it down into steps. Turn those steps into goals and start accomplishing them. Watch yourself grow and move further every day. Your motivation will hike a great deal when you will see the results, and once, you get addicted to achieving things, there is no turning back.

Figure out your most productive hours

Find out when you work best. Are you an early bird? Or a night owl? Or are your working hours completely different? Figure out how long you can work for in one go, your work-break strategy. What is the time in a day when you can work at a stretch without getting distracted? This will help you stay motivated at that particular time.

Now that you have everything on your plate, get on with it. Because no matter how many tips and tricks you try or read about, they won’t work until you do. So, just do it!
